The BAVA Men’s Conference is a men-only space created by BAVA men, for Batswana men.
It exists to bring us together — to connect, to talk honestly, to heal, to grow, and to build a strong, united brotherhood that supports each other through life’s challenges.
This is more than a once-off event.
It is the beginning of a movement of Batswana men choosing connection over isolation, growth over silence, and brotherhood over doing life alone.
Many Batswana men carry heavy responsibilities — family, identity, culture, expectations, and life in the diaspora — often without safe spaces to speak openly.
The BAVA Men’s Conference creates that space.
A space where:
Conversations are real and respectful
Growth is intentional
Brotherhood is built, not assumed
Men can show up as they are — without judgment
This is a place to learn from one another, support one another, and rise together as men.
The BAVA Men’s Conference is not confined to a single day or venue.
It is a series of experiences designed to build genuine connection over time.
Activities may include:
Weekend retreats and getaways
Hiking and outdoor experiences
Beach days and wellness activities
Informal catch-ups and men’s circles
Honest conversations about life, leadership, culture, health, relationships, and purpose
Each experience is designed to strengthen bonds, encourage reflection, and create lasting connections among Batswana men.
This space is for Batswana men living in Victoria who:
Value community and brotherhood
Want to grow personally and collectively
Are open to real conversations about life and identity
Want to connect with other men who understand their journey
Whether you are young or older, newly arrived or long established — you belong here.
To build a strong, united, and supportive brotherhood of Batswana men — grounded in culture, connected in purpose, and committed to growth.
When men are supported, families thrive.
When men are connected, communities strengthen.
When men stand together, legacies are built.
The BAVA Men’s Conference is more than an event —
it’s a commitment to showing up for yourself and for your brothers.
Come connect.
Come grow.
Come build something meaningful together.
